At a focus group with Safeguarding Governors, pupils shared their wish to see more avenues for cross-year group interactions.

This is something that we always want to see develop at King’s. This academic year has seen the introduction of:

– Whole school assemblies, once a week all together, in the Cathedral.

– ‘Game On’, a weekly sports activity coordinated by L6 pupils for LR pupils.

– School Council, with 17 pupils across the year groups.

And the continuation of:

– House time activities and competitions

– Clubs and societies such as MUN and CCF which operate across year groups

– Peer education programme, seeing L6 pupils work for a term with L4 pupils on developing wellbeing strategies.

We will continue to work on avenues for pupils to engage with each other across the school community.
